A destructive install, the assumed starting point is an empty harddisk
< 128 MB. YMMV.

1 - Do not create partitions with the W7 installer. You can create the
W7-partition with the W7 installer when you want its primary recovery
partition of 100 MB too.

2 - Create your partitions with an utility like DFSee. W7 does not
have to be the first partition. Use the whole harddisk.

3 - Install eCS (base only), format all eCS partitions

4 - Make sure the W7 partition is startable/active

5 - Install W7

6 - Make sure the eCS partition is startable/active

7 - Install eCS

8 - Make sure the W7 partition is startable/active

9 - Use the W7 installer to repair the W7 boot steps

10 - Make sure W7 boots

11 - Install eCS

12 - Install AiR-BOOT 1.10

13 - Make sure eCS boot

14 - Make sure W7 boots

15 - Finish your eCS and W7 installs

Much to coplicated! The simplest way is:

1. boot up to eCS-installation CD
2. fire up LVM
3. create partitons needet
- 1 little partition about 150 MB
. has to live untitil partitioning is really finiched
- create a primary partitzion in size of 50 GB or
bigger for Windows system
- create an extended partiton in any size you likes
for windows data
- create an extended parttion in any sioze you likes
for data exchange between OSes on this system
- create an externded partition for eCS system
size should be about 2GB
-creade an extended partition in any size for
data and programs eCS
optionally:
- creade an extended partiton in size of 20 GB
or more for linux.
- make volumes from exist partitions:
- 2 GB bootable! eCS
- LVM each partiton visible to eCS
be sure to press F6 at each create!
- install air boot!
- optionally boot to linux live DVD and install it
be sure you install grub in the partiton you install /
- install windows
- boot up again to eCS CD to get eCS installed
at first install airboot
- must be done because windows has destroyed it
and the stage 2 of tzhe installer needs it for boot

... perhaps misleading. Here the real simplest, straight-forward way
only worked with a brand new harddisk (as opposed to a harddisk with
wiped partition tables). Otherwise there's a risk that the W7
installer will tell you that the partition you've selected cannot be
used. Again, YMMV, and having yet another alternative is fine.
