Discussion:
mzfntcfgft_runtime-2-5-4.wpi/rws08dll.zip/ecs 2.0 GA anomaly
(too old to reply)

eCS 2.0 GA has Q:\ecs\bin\RWS08.CMD, Q:\ecs\dll\RWSCLI08.DLL and
Q:\ecs\dll\RWSSRV08.DLL, but the eCS install process does not run
RWS08 to register the class. The wpi for mzfntcfgft_runtime reports
that rws08 is not installed instead of reporting that it is not
properly configured.

Has the first issue been corrected in 2.1 or 2.2b2? Is there anybody
still maintaining the mzfntcfgft_runtime wpi?

It would appear as if this may be the case in 2.2b2, at least it appears to be
that way for me here on my setup anyway.

Doug Bissett did the mzfntcfgft_runtime_wpi.
I'd suggest disabling rws with Mozilla as it often creates problems as
in hangs and/or crashes when certain filetypes are displayed/downloaded.
I had Thunderbird freezing (only the frame responding0 when displaying a
patch and Seamonkey freezing solid when downloading a tarball.
Of course your mileage may vary
